Declutter Your Clothes The Cha Cha Cha Way!

I was working on a handout. Well it looks like it is shaping up into an ebook.  I would love to have it ready for this month but I have to be realistic. As someone says to me, ‘Come Down To Earth Now.’ Yes that would be my mentor Lesly Frederici.

I have so many ideas for my website to share and help you keep your home ‘Company Ready’. This allows room for ‘Simple Living – Enjoy The Difference’. I hired Lesly to help me with the technical side of this. I am working on a book titled ‘Too Many Clothes, Nothing To Wear’ It will be available in e book and print. They will be available soon!  It will be available before we declutter our clothes again in August to use during August Event Declutter Your Clothes The Cha Cha Cha Way! Be on the look out for it.

  1. Hi Marilyn,

Linking out for the actual questions kinda threw there for a moment! 😉

I did follow the link and the questions were excellent, especially ‘does it fit’? I mean, are we really expect to lose that extra 20 llbs before the ‘whatever’ goes outta style? I think not!

    • Thank you for responding. This is the first time I have done it like that. It could be my website skills that are lacking. Maybe I needed a landing page? If I state the actual 9 Questions, would anyone be motivated to download them later?

  2. Hi,
I agree with Ed. I got kind of confused. Where are the questions? Perhaps paste them here as well… ?
At any rate, I could have used your decluttering questions yesterday. Once a year, I give a massive overhaul away of things we no longer want or use. I can never decide which clothes to get rid of.

  3. Hi Marilyn,
Doing things for the first time can be confusing, but this is how the PAC community works with the blogging rounds. Often we help and provide guidance through our blog comments – and that’s a good thing AND that’s how we can learn things. So 1. I would have linked your image TO the 9 questions. 2. The questions are awesome.. I have so many nice clothes that don’t fit. I don’t want to toss them .. so I have to shrink – which I’m working on … 🙂 Your blog looks great! Keep up the fantastic job you’re doing. You’ve come a long way!

  4. i was searching question ,than saw download link.. i would download it..

  5. Hi Marylin,
You are talking my language here! I go through my clothes every season. You have given great advice here because I do try to tell others how important it is to pass on our clothing. Someone else will be very happy to receive it.
I almost went through mine today but got too busy online. Kismiet?

    • It makes it so much easier to have a maintenance schedule put in place for clothing. The job doesn’t have to become so big. Yes, there are lots of people out there that wear new to them clothes. It is a big business. Thanks for commenting!

  6. Thanks for these suggestions , they are helpful. I try to clean my closet out as I buy new clothes, it helps keep the clutter from getting too overwhelming.

    • Yes and that is the best way to do it. Many don’t go through their clothes for years. They just continue to collect them. My first go of it was an enormous job. Today I use the tool you use and then twice a year make it the focus as I am switching over wardrobe seasons. Thank you for commenting@!

    • It can be overwhelming the first time around. The more you understand your style for today present moment, the easier it is to weed out the clothes that no longer serve you purpose. I remember my first go at it. It was bags and bags of clothes because I hadn’t done it in years. Today I like focusing on it twice a year to maintain. Thank you for posting!

  8. OMG, this is so funny and so brilliant. My hubby needs to declutter his closet. The kids and I have knocked out all of the others already.

    • Ha! Many times their secret reason is the same as us. Where do I start? Print out my questions and give it to him. Let me know how this goes. I take all results. Both positive and negative splashed with humor is always the cherry on top! Thanks for commenting!

  9. Hi Marilyn,
This is a very timely post for me as my clothes clutter has got to overwhelm stage (again).
Unfortunately, I have just been looking for something I need, which must have been thrown out with the last declutter.
Anyway, when I DO psyche myself up for the next clothes prune, I’ll bear your helpful tips in mind.
